What made you want to intern for Design Ready Controls?

Masyn started looking for internships this past winter and came across Design Ready Controls on Indeed. She researched the company and learned about who Design Ready Controls is and what they do. As she learned more about the company culture and values, Masyn knew Design Ready Controls would be the perfect fit for her to continue to grow in professional sales.

What do you like most about Design Ready Controls, and why?

Since day one, Masyn has felt welcomed by everyone who works in Design Ready Controls. “The leadership team has been so helpful and cares about my growth and career. I am getting real life work experience while working alongside great people.” Masyn stated.

What kinds of projects are you currently working on right now?

As part of my role in sales and marketing, I focus on identifying opportunities with OEM’s and their control panel building needs. I conduct thorough research using various platforms, including web pages such as LinkedIn. Once I have qualified a lead, I make connections with the customers’ purchasing and engineering teams. My goal is to build strong customer relationships that support their panel building needs and expectations.

What are your next steps and how has your Design Ready Controls internship prepared you?

“My internship experiences have been incredibly valuable in shaping my future. The real-world exposure has allowed me to apply classroom knowledge, honing skills that textbooks alone could not provide. I’ve learned the true value of professional networking, in providing opportunities full of collaboration. Immersing myself in specific industries has provided insights that textbooks cannot capture and teach. Lastly, working with diverse teams enhanced my adaptability and teamwork skills. This internship has become a stepping stone toward my career goals!” Masyn plans to pursue a full-time role in sales after her internship is complete.
